I hate those plastic lawn chairs. Hate 'em. :D 

So I made new lawn chairs!

They sit up for paying attention to people, they lean WAY back for lounging, and I made them in ROYGBIV colors because the color spectrum is awesome and and it was June (Pride Month). 


they're made out of 2x3s, sanded and stained. I should upload the specs in case I need to make more of these things. The important dimensions are:

  * vertical bit is 4' long, joining hole is 13" up. 
  * horizontal bit is slightly shorter so they fit together. Joining hole is 11" in. 
  * support arm is 2' long. 
  * Works out so the fabric is 1.5 yards long. I should do longer though, and wrap around the chair a few times. 
  * Width dictated by the width of the fabric. Can double up standard canvas widths and get a nice wide chair for 2 people or an adult/kid. 
  * I used fabric tacks to hold the fabric on. Put So many on! More!
