I'm just showing off my weird little projects. :D
Here's a 2 string cello, a 3 string guitar thing, and a 2 string violin… All made out of scrap wood, spare parts, and stuff found in the local thrift shop pie pan section. :D
These were made for Rigler Elementary, for a fundraiser. They were so fun to make!
The tailpiece is a spoon I flattened out.
The cello fingerboard is a spare bit of purple heartwood I had laying around.
The cello is tuned G and D, the violin is tuned G and D, and the guitar uses the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strings of a guitar and a 18.5“/470mm scale length to tune to G, B, E so guitar chord shapes are accurate on it.
I'm following instructions here.
