Good website for bathroom considerations.

See link above for 6'x6' corner shower half bath. I love it for second bathrooms. Ah! but it's hard to put against outer walls, I want to be able to access shower plumbing from the back.

Permits are going to be about $30k?

Foundation is going to be about $15k?

We need to fix the belly in the plumbing line, and add a riser to the new house. Cost?

I'm taking notes as I read it.

He's very wordy, it's kind of annoying.

Chapter 2, design.

	* Weird shapes are hard to build, KISS, squares are good for cost/sqft.
	* Architects tend to overdesign.
	* put large openings on non load bearing walls, so you don't need big headers. I disagree, headers aren't that hard to do.

Overall notes

Aline hates mold. No mold. Keep all the cold bits away from moisture so we don't get condensation. No ducts to move cold air and get water condensing on them.

So I took the guts of a bluetooth headset that was broken and jammed it into my favorite PPE.

Stairs are 7'8“ for a riser. Calculate how many you'll need for the vertical distance.

Then do 10-11” for each tread to find out how long your stairs are.

Let's assume 8' ceilings and 2' for joists. 10'. 120“.

divide by 8”, is 15. So we'll have 15 steps, with the last step being the upper floor.

Hi! I'm Tony. :-)

Welcome to my little website!

This is just my little web page for when I need to put something up on the web. It's ran off an old Thinkpad in the basement, because I value DIY in all things. Also, it's kinda scary how much of the web runs off of just a few companies.

Roots over 4 inches in diameter should not be cut.

root encroachment zone is one foot for every inch of diameter.

See this handy pamphlet.

What is the diameter of the oak tree?

Kitchen

Kitchen fan on timer
Kitchen and living room visable to each other so people cooking can feel included
small oven just big enough to roast a chicken or back a sheet of cookies.
2 burner stove is fine. 4 is OK too.
place for house plants
no dining room, so eating can happen between kitchen and living room. Counter as table?
Enough space for 8 people
